Getting Ready for Fall
Welcome all to CCCP 2023- 24 school year! I hope you have all been enjoying your Summer! We are counting down to the start of another awesome school year, and we can't wait! We are so excited to see all our returning families, and get to know all of our new families. We have limited openings remaining in each of our classes if you have any friends that would like to join us!
Please use the button below titled Jovial- Family Portal to complete registration for your students. Please complete your Child Profile, as well as uploading a picture or PDF copy of your child's immunizations, and Register for our Pumpkin Patch Field Trip October 18th (Details Below). Get familiar and poke around Jovial. If you turned in a Child Profile or Immunization you can always edit and resubmit forms instead of filling out new forms.
I will be sending out all Background Checks for in class working parents, and online Sexual Abuse Awareness Training this week through Ministries Safe. This is a requirement, and must be repeated every 2- years. Once training, and background checks have been completed, our system will automatically notify me. If you have any issues at all please email me! I can get it sorted!
Preparations at home for Preschool: There are several ways you can prepare your kiddo for Preschool. With big changes, brings big emotions for some. There will be tears - sometimes from kids, sometimes from parents, and sometimes both. THAT IS OKAY! We are prepared, and have been down this road many times, for many years. Some kiddos will need cuddles, some need space, but I assure you they will all get loved. Some kiddos will settle in right away, and some take time. There is a huge spectrum of how kiddos will respond to starting preschool. There will be no one-size fits all, and we will spend time getting to know what makes each kiddo tick. If your child is struggling and we need some parent backup we will call! We also always have conference rooms in the back with WiFi for parents that want to stick around close.
Below is a great article to help prepare yourselves and kiddos for preschool. Again, each kiddo will respond differently, and have different needs. We will work with families and students to make a smooth and loving transition.
