Catholic Schools Week

Celebrate Catholic Schools Week begins Jan. 31st and runs through Feb. 6th. It’s our opportunity to celebrate our students, families, parishioners and community members. We have some fun optional dress up days and activities planned!

Pull out those CSSE yard signs to display, or contact PTO@steugeneschool.org to purchase.

Catholic Schools Week 2021

Prayer Service

Father Wolf and Father Vic will be away all next week. Instead of school mass, we will have prayer services for both groups of students. Students may wear their Catholic Schools Week dress day outfit or dress in their normal school uniform.

Coin Drive for Bolivia!

A donor has agreed to match any donations collected on Monday up to $200!

Check pockets, couch cushions and under car seats! Our coin drive that ends Friday the 6th is going to support the Friends of Bolivia orphanage. Usually our 5th graders help raise money for this cause through the school store, which did not get to open this year. Their goal that they met the last couple of years is $1,000.

If you are interested in making a matching donation for one day’s collection or the duration of the coin drive, please contact media@steugeneschool.org. Students may drop off change in the jug by the office or in the jug by Mrs. Wilson & Mrs. Price’s room until Feb. 6th.

Clean Up for Catholic Schools Week!

Saturday, Jan. 30th, 12pm

2400 Hefner Road

The Village, OK

Join us at noon on Saturday, Jan. 30th for a clean up day. Since Catholic Schools Week is coming up, let’s get together and help our campus look its best! We need to spread mulch, move downed limbs, pick up trash and prune whatever damaged limbs within reach. Please sign up and let us know you are coming. Wear boots since we expect it may be a bit muddy after morning showers.

RSVPs are enabled for this event.

The Return of the Gala!

The Gala is on! Take that mask off for some fun at home. That's right, this year's Gala will be 100% virtual. So bid on your favorite auction items from the comfort of your own home. More details will come out soon!!!

Valentine’s Day

Teachers will be sending out details about procedures for Valentines/treats. Please make sure to assemble your Valentines with sanitized/washed hands (doing so while masked is preferred). Look for teacher’s directives regarding when to send them to school.

Valentine Free Dress Day

Friday, Feb. 12th will be a Valentine-themed free dress day! Students may wear red, pink, hearts, messages of love, etc. as long as they follow the normal free dress guidelines. COVID-19 Response and Procedures

  • My Child is Ill. What Do I Do? Allergies or COVID? Stomach bug or COVID? It can be hard to decipher what ailment might be affecting your child. We have created some graphics and flowcharts to help you navigate what steps to take when your child or someone in your household is feeling unwell. Please report concerns or questions about illness to Mrs. Goldsworthy at principal@steugeneschool.org, and she will consult with our response team - Mrs. O'Connell and Mrs. Rischard. ALWAYS fill out and submit the Absentee Form (or call Ms. Patrick in the office), then notify your child’s homeroom/house teacher each day of absence.

  • Absences Please use the Absentee Form to report absences AND email your child’s teacher/house homeroom. It is important to communicate why your child is missing school with the teacher and document through the Google form. Please be meticulous in following directions if a child, household member, or close contact has recently tested positive for COVID or is awaiting results of a COVID test. NO ONE IN THE HOUSEHOLD MAY ENTER THE SCHOOL BUILDING if COVID exposure is positive OR in question. Mrs. Goldsworthy MUST clear your household for return to school in all cases where the possibility of COVID is involved. Please send illness updates to Mrs. Goldsworthy.

  • Screening Questions and Carpool Please remember to have your questions answered DAILY and results ready to show on your phone. Students should be masked, on the passenger side for temp checks, and ready to go as soon as carpool teacher opens the door. bit.ly/FamilyDailyQs

  • Spirit Tee Tuesday is EVERY Tuesday! - Students may wear their regular uniform or a St. Eugene spirit tee with jeans or uniform bottoms. Don't forget ALL students dismiss at 2pm EVERY Tuesday!
