Judges' Docket
Week of 12/04/2022
At JHHS we care about our students – Attendance is important!
Parents/Custodians: You may be receiving correspondence regarding your student’s absences if your student has had 10 days of absences from school. The absences do not have to be consecutive for you to receive this letter. We are following state level mandates that require a school notification, regardless if the absences are excused or unexcused, to parents/guardians as these absences fall into the chronic absenteeism category.
John Handley High School is committed to foster success in each and every student. When a student is out of school due to any absence, regardless of excused or unexcused, important instructional time is lost. This has a direct impact on a student's success. We want to partner with our families and together ensure our students are as successful as they can be.
Attendance Competition!
Each Friday we will announce a class winner for the best attendance for that week. The class president will be called to the office to claim the Attendance Gavel for the week. The class with the most wins will be rewarded with a pizza party at the end of the school year.
This week's winner is the FRESHMAN CLASS! Well done!
