The Willard Weekly

March 21, 2016

Dear Willard Families and Community,

Thank you for attending our Science Night on the Thursday before Spring Break. Thank you to Ms. Wittry, parent volunteers, and teachers who set up and ran stations for the Science Fair and Science Night. The learning stations were engaging and interactive.

Our IB attitudes for the month of March are tolerance and Integrity. Tolerance teaches sensitivity about differences and diversity in the world, while being responsive to the needs of others. Integrity means to be honest and fair. The profile attribute that we are celebrating is being well-balanced, which means that students understand the importance of intellectual, physical and emotional balance as a means to attain personal well-being for themselves and others. (IBO, 2009). Please share these with your child(ren) and discuss how these traits are helpful in daily life and learning.

The Willard Weekly is posted on Willard’s Facebook page. Be sure to like it.

Did you know that all 4th graders receive a free pass for Federal Parks (families are included)? Please check out this website for more information.
