Mark ups
Mark ups are when people buy something for a certain price them sell it in there buisness for an amount that is higher than the price they got it for. For example somebody bought something for 4$ then they sell it for 6$.
Tips
People pay bartenders, waitresses, and car salesmen tips if they are nice. Some bartenders or waitresses live off of tips. You add it to your bill for the worker.
Pay your taxes
You add taxes to your bill for the government to pay for schools and roads etc.
Discount and commission
This section will teach you to know discount and commission
Commision
Commision is how much a person makes off of something.
Kohls
Kohls always has discounts going on. I got a shirt at kohls for 16$ but it was 30% off so I only spent $4.80.
Discounts
A discount is a price marked low baca use the supply and demand is low
Tax at Aeropostale
I spent 12$ on a shirt at Aeropostale the percentage of tax was 6% so The tax was 7.20$. so the overall totall is $14.50
Tips
The worker at Aeropostale was super nice on helping me find what i needed so I tipped her 12% of what I got. I spen 100$ so I gave her $8.33.
Commision
A sweater is 6$ and I get 2$ for every shirt. I got 7 shirts so the commission I got is 42$
Mark up
I wanted to have a lemonade stand so I bought lemonade for .50 cents when but when I sold it I marked it up 200% so my lemonade was 1$.
