Learning at Home
As part of the Caesar Rodney School District's Pandemic Preparedness Action Plan, we are providing academic resources to continue learning at home during the extended school closure. The resources below are meant to provide students with an opportunity to practice previously learned skills while schools are closed. There are links within the Google Docs for both free online learning resources and printable resources for our student population. This document will be updated periodically so please check back frequently for new materials!
We ask that your child practice their skills by working on these resources daily. Students should work to the best of their ability while working at their own pace with support from family members- if students reach a point of frustration, please stop and move on!
We also encourage our students to read daily for a minimum of 30 minutes per day. Completion of these activities will help maintain your child's academic progress until school reopens.
Schedules & Materials
This live newsletter will be updated weekly with activities and resources to assist you in supporting your students at home during the school closures.
While we understand that scheduling academics at home can be a challenge, we encourage you to set aside designated blocks of time each day for learning, and, to the best of your ability, stay consistent with these blocks of time for as long as we're out of school.
