Week 12 ROAR!
Waterbury Community,
It has been an exciting week welcoming back fourth and fifth grade students to in-person learning!
In this newsletter, you'll find the sign up page for parent/teacher conferences. Please use this link if you need an interpreter for your conference, and one will be provided for you.
A friendly reminder:
The drop off zone now has two drop offs. The closest to the school is typically for K-2nd graders. The island is for 3-5th graders. For families with both K-2 and 3-5 kids, the kids will unite on the black top/basketball hoop area and the car driver may choose which spot. Please use the drop off zone. At no time should any cars be using the circle drive in front of the building.
Have a happy and safe weekend!
Thank you.

Ms. Stalzer's GOOD NEWS!
As I was welcoming our 4th and 5th graders back this week, I was very impressed by the way Mrs. Trippiedi's classroom door was decorated! Everyone was so happy to see students back in the classroom.

COVID-19 cases are increasing in our community
As we near flu season and activities are moving indoors we need your help to keep everyone safe.
Please consider the following when attending school events:
★ Stay home when appropriate – experiencing new symptoms (including fever, cough, headache, sore throat, vomiting, diarrhea, congestion, runny nose, fatigue, body aches, loss of taste or small and abdominal pain), exposure to someone who tested positive for COVID-19, or are awaiting COVID-19 test results.
★ Wear a mask and socially distance at all times
★ Practice frequent hand hygiene
★ IT TAKES MULTIPLE LAYERS TO PROTECT AGAINST COVID-19.
I also attached the latest exclusion guide that I am utilizing to make decisions regarding daily attendance in our building. Hopefully, it will offer some insight as to why individuals are asked to stay home for a bit.
Friday, November 13th is Dress Up Friday- Inside Out Day! Wear your clothes INSIDE OUT today!
