1st Law of Motion

Newton's First Law of Motion
Every object in a state of uniform tends to remain in that state of motion unless an external force is applied to it.
Basics (?)
The elephant is clearly a lot stronger but the reason behind that is that it has a lot more force. And the man does not have as much, so it's like pulling on a brick wall.
Getting the Force
The man is pushing on the car that has a mass of 1,000 kg and the car is moving .05 m/s/s. The amount of newtons is found by multiplying the mass (kg) and the acceleration (m/s/s). Therefore, the mount of force that the man is using is 50 newtons (N).
Ouch...
When something that is going so fast stops almost instantaneously, that energy has to go somewhere... That sucks for him.
How Newton's First Law Affects Our Lives
Newton's First Law of Motion is a prime factor in our daily lives. It is used for just about everything. When you push a book out of the way. When you skate. When you drive. When you just sit there. There isn't anything that doesn't use it.
