A virtual screening of the documentary- May 27, 2020 at 7 PM
APS invites the community to a virtual screening of the movie, Angst on Wednesday, May 27th at 7 p.m.
Angst is a documentary designed to raise awareness around anxiety. The film includes interviews with kids, teens, educators, experts, parents and a very special interview with Michael Phelps. The goal specifically is to help people identify and understand the symptoms of anxiety and encourage them to reach out for help.
Following the screening, there will be a panel discussion with APS social workers Abby Levin, Colleen Lebeau and Susan Hunter-Jones led by Social Worker Program Coordinator Joe Yarid and Dr. Jerry Bubrick. Dr. Bubrick consulted and participated in the making of the documentary.
To participate, families must register and RSVP here. There will be a limit of 500 participants for this event.
