Austria's capital is Vienna. The flags legend is about Duke Lepold V.. The red and white represent when Duke Lepold V. was blood-soaked from the Battle of Ptolemais in 1191. The only thing left of him was his white belt.

Austria is ion Europe surrounded by Germany, Hungary, Italy, Czech Republic, Liechtenstein, Slovakia, Slovenia, and Switzerland. Major bodies around Austria are Neusiedlersee, Atersee, Grundsee, and Halstattersee.

This effects the citizen lives because many people will be migrating to Austria for there landforms and landmarks

Government:

Austria has a federal government and is lead by Heinz Fischer. The leader is elected not chosen because Austria is a limited government. Since Austria is a limited government, citizens have more power and personal freedoms.

Austria is a rich nation, they use euro for money. Their main imports are machinery, equipments, motor vehicles, paper and paper boards, metal goods, iron, steel, textiles,and foodstuffs.

The foods they are famous for are beef, pork, and Wiener schnitzel.
