Principal's Update - Mary Quigley

With the lead crisis in Newark, a few parents have asked about the testing of our water in the borough. The water at WAS is supplied by the borough from NJ American Water.

We get quality reports on a regular basis. As a precautionary measure, the district plans on testing the water in various spots in the schools in the near future.

If you have any further questions or concerns, please feel free to contact our business administrator, Peter Daquila, at

WAS PTO President's UPDATE Michelle Lease

Our next PTO community meeting is just around the corner-April 6, 9:00 a.m. in the WAS Multipurpose room. Our guest speaker is Dr. Michael LaSusa, who will talk about the school district's budget. We will also vote in our Executive Board slate for 2016-2017. A reminder, these meetings are intended for all WAS parents so we hope to see you there!

Thank you so much to all the families that supported our Spring Fundraisers-Square One & Mixed Bag! Your support allows us to continue to provide events like Special Events Day, Author's Day, assemblies & field trips.
