School Policies up for review this term.
Waipipi School uses "SchoolDocs" to maintain a comprehensive, up-to-date, set of policies and procedures.
The principal, board of trustees, and members of our school community all have access to SchoolDocs.
If Waipipi parents and caregivers are interested in helping the school board and staff to review policies and procedures- the process to follow is below:
1. Visit the website https://waipipi.schooldocs.co.nz/1893.htm
2. Enter the username (waipipi) and password (pipi).
3. Follow the link to the relevant policy as listed.
4. Read the policy.
5. Click the Policy Review button at the top right-hand corner of the page.
6. Select the reviewer type "Parent".
7. Enter your name (optional).
8. Submit your ratings and comments.
9. If you don't have internet access, Pam can provide you with printed copies of the policy and a review form.
This term there are two policies up for review:

2. Concerns and Complaints
WANTED: Someone who can work with a group of Year 7-8 students, who are really keen to learn about the mechanics of motorbikes and cars.
If you have an hour once a week/ or once every two weeks, and would be prepared to come in to school and work with a small group of boys- we'd love to hear from you!
Getting reading happening at home.
Sadly, with the introduction of gaming and time on the internet, children's time spent reading has decreased over the years.
The impact that you at home can have on your child's attitude to reading is immense. The following link gives valuable insights in to reading at home and some strategies, that you as parents, can use to help get your children hooked into reading for pleasure.
