"What I want to be when I grow up..." Career Exploration In Elementary School

It's never too early for kids to start thinking about how bright their future can be. It's important that kids are exposed to all of the different career options that are out there. Now more than ever, there is an abundance of options along their educational path. Start a conversation at home about what your child would like to do when they grow up, and about college. This also helps your child learn about goal setting, and realize the importance of school!

Career Exploration Resources for Home

Below you will find a list of different books, and websites geared toward career exploration at the elementary age level. Read a book together about different jobs, or explore a website together. This will open the door to a conversation about work, and will get your child's brain thinking about what kind of activities that they enjoy doing.
