Hi-lites week of Dec. 4th, 2020
Happy First Week of Advent!
Looking Forward with Relish to School Year 2021-22!
We are already looking forward to the 2021-2022 school year! You will be receiving an email asking you to enroll your student(s) through the TADS system. It's easy-peasy with all the previous household data being saved from the last enrollment.
We would love to have a flood of early enrollments so we can begin our 2021-2022 planning. Thank you in advance for your early enrollment action!
Reminder: Kindergartners registered before January 31, 2021, will earn families a $150 tuition credit from the Schulze Family Foundation.

Dear Fifth Grade Students,
We want to thank you for the wonderful Veterans' Day Program on Wednesday, Nov. 11th, at Lumen Christi Church.
The readings were read with feelings and the names of the women and men who served our country and kept us safe made us proud.
Thank you 5th grade students for this very special service.

The Elves are in First Grade The pandemic did not keep Santa from sending two curious elves from the North Pole to help motivate our first graders to write and share all things "Christmas." These first graders were super excited to see the teachers open the boxes and free the elves! | Advent Calendar The first graders create a personalized Advent Calendar this month, with each student creating their own display for the class calendar. Here is Frances with Day 1. What a special time of year! | Christmas Candy Canes Now here is a fun way to practice patterns in Preschool. (Sorry, the mask cracks me up!) Candy canes remind us of the Shepherd's staffs at the stable. |

The Reason for the Season Everyone should join the Preschoolers and find a quiet moment to take out the watercolors. Look at these beautiful mangers. | Getting the Wiggles Out Preschoolers enjoy the spaciousness of the HiC gym. Just wait until they can run around in the new gym at Urban Academy. It is HUGE and something we can all look forward to enjoying soon. | Inspiring! How sweet is this? During last week's Homily the priest mentioned that he feels like Advent started last March and we are still waiting. I can relate. |
