Student Materials Distribution and School Materials Drop Off
In order to wrap up the year we need to make arrangements for you to pick up your child’s materials from school AND drop off school materials to us.
This will occur on:
- Monday, May 18th from 2:00 - 6:00
- Tuesday, May 19th from 8:30 - 12:00.
This will be the only days/times that we will be able to offer this.
This will be the time that you can retrieve your child’s materials and drop off any school materials (library books, school musical instruments, textbooks, teacher materials, etc.)
We will use a “drive-through” only method to complete this process. To assist in making this as safe as possible, while also trying to make it as quick and as efficient as possible, please keep the following in mind:
- Please drive to the school to complete this process. While the weather may be nice on this day and walking might seem more appropriate, in order to ensure we maintain social distancing we are asking that everyone drive to the school rather than walk to the school.
- We will have a limited staff here on these days. As much as it pains the staff (and students) to hear this, for this to run as quickly and efficiently as possible, this won't be a time for students/parents to visit with staff.
- Please make sure and have your car tag hanging from your rearview mirror. If you cannot find this, please print your last name on a piece of paper and show us when you drive up.
- We will use the drop off and pick up lane on the south side of the building under the awning. Please pull up to the first space. Everyone else should pull behind the car in front of them. There will not be any pickup occurring in front of our building.
- Before you come please place any school materials that need to be returned to the school in your trunk. These might include but not necessarily be limited to the following: library books, materials loaned to the student from a teacher, textbooks, school loaned musical instrument.
- When you arrive at school, please unlatch your trunk or hatch. A staff member will place a sack or sacks containing your child’s school materials in the trunk or hatch area AND retrieve the school materials you need to return. If your child ordered a yearbook, this will be included in this sack as well.
- If you get home and feel like you are missing something, please connect with your child's classroom teacher and we will do our best to get this to your child in August. We will do our best to distribute any art work in August as well.
Please let us know if you have any questions in regards to the process we are using to return student materials and collect school materials that have been loaned to you. Thanks for your support and partnership!

Staff News for the 2020-2021 School Year
Please see the following changes for the 2020-2021 school year:
- Kate Kadel will not be returning as a fifth grade teacher. She has decided to step away from the teaching profession. Please thank Ms. Kadel for all that she has done for Manchester Park!
