You may be aware that we have held a chance drawing so that 9 students (3 from each grade) can attend the dance for free! Please watch the video below to see the lucky winners. The winners are also typed below. All students eligible to attend the dance were entered into the drawing!
If you are one of our 9 lucky winners, your ticket will be delivered to you soon. If you won and have already purchased a ticket, you can choose a friend to receive your free ticket, as long as they are eligible. Please come see us in Room 308 during advisory or fifth period or contact Ms. Smith at jdias@sandi.net if you have already bought a ticket.

Friday Activity Musical Chairs
Hey Leopards!
This week, February 23rd, ASB is hosting a Musical Chairs Friday Activity . We will have 5 people per round, and will be set up at the quad for 6/7th grade lunch, and the solar panels for 8th grade lunch.

Final Date for Butterfly Activity
Hey lewis leopards!
If you haven’t heard we are holding a butterfly activity based on our character focus: adaptability. The date that you would need to be done with your butterflies is next Friday, February 23.

Under The Sea DanceTicket Info
Hey Leopards!
ASB is selling dance tickets during lunch for $3 in front of the cafeteria starting today. The sales are going from 2/12 to 2/28. At the ticket table, we are also pre-selling pizza for $1 a slice, with the choice of cheese or pepperoni. Other snacks and drinks will be sold at the dance. The dance will be March 1st, 3:15-5:15pm on campus. Remember that you must be eligible to purchase a ticket (based on page 9 in the planner). We will have free games available if you don’t want to dance and we will be hosting a chance drawing to win your choice of shoes (up to a $100 value!) as well as a dance contest to win a Nintendo Switch at the dance.
So hurry and purchase your ticket now because they will rise up to $5 next week!

Attention 8th Graders!
Your 8th grade dance will be in June and Foundation would like YOUR help choosing a theme!
Please locate the Google Form on the 8th Grade Google Classroom to select your favorite choice for a dance theme.
Remember that End of the Year Eligibility will apply to be able to attend this free event!

CLUB NEWS AND ANNOUNCEMENTS
Jewish Club and No Place For Hate
Hey Students,
From February 1 to February 29, Jewish Club and No Place For Hate will be doing a joint service project collecting items for the homeless. In Judaism, we believe in Tikkun olam, which is a mission to make the world a better place. Homeless people need some items and are constantly passed over every day. Show your love and donate. Some items we need are,
Hand Sanitizer (any size bottle, preferably small)
Toothpaste
Toothbrush's
Women's and Men's personal hygiene products (deodorant, etc...)
Socks!!
Make sure to donate before the deadline!!
All donations will go to homeless shelters in downtown. Please drop off any donations to Mrs. Allison's(room 104) or Mr. Olsen's(room 211) classroom.

Jewish Club!
Every Tuesday, we have our next Jewish Club meeting during 7/8th grade lunch in room 211. Everyone is welcome!
Rainbow Club
Every Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday there is Rainbow Club/GSA/SafePlace in room 211. This is a place to have lunch for students who are LGBTQIA+ along with friends and allies. Everyone is welcome!
Higher Ground
Hi students and parents! Higher Ground Club is a space every Tuesday at lunch for students to come meet new friends, play games, eat pizza, and grow as students of character. We are a club facilitated by students, and directed by adults. We're really excited about this school year, if you have any questions please feel free to reach out at any time.
