Attention Seniors,
Do you want to attend college, but need help paying for it? Before each year of college, apply for federal grants, work-study, and loans with the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA®) form. All colleges use your FAFSA data to determine your federal aid eligibility. Don't wait. The application window for next year's aid is now open. Let us help you start your application before the application window closes on March 2nd. Attend the FAFSA Student Application Workshop on Friday, October 15, 2021, during 2nd period in Room 103. Reservations required. Make your reservation now by clicking on the "FAFSA Student Workshop" link in the Daily Bruin. You may also contact your counselor or Mrs. Bishop to make your reservation no later than Thursday, October 14th. Seats are limited to the first 35 Seniors. FAFSA Student Application Workshop
BHS Recommendations from our 2019 Visiting Committee:
- Focus on rigorous and responsive instructional practices across all content areas that support student acquisition of content standards and language and literacy skills.
- There is a need to create an authentic college and career success culture by focusing on the California School Dashboard indicators.
- There is a need to continue to explore and implement best practices and multiple forms of formative assessment to guide rigorous and responsive instructional practices.
- There is a need to develop and monitor responsive systems for two-way communication with all stakeholder groups.
