Pie in the Face Fundraiser
November 13-17 Donations accepted
November 20 Staff member gets PIED
This November, PTO presents a Pie In The Face Fundraiser for Sunflower and Cottonwood Elementary schools!
Staff members from each school have volunteered to get PIED if they win the most donations!
Donation jars will be set up at the front of each school with a tracker chart to see who is in the lead each day! Students can bring change to school every day during the donation week so they can help determine the WINNER! This should be a lot of fun for the students and a great way PTO can raise funds for school field trip bussing, subsidizing costs of field trips, staff hospitality, student/parent class meet ups, family friendly events and MORE!
Thank you!
American Education Week
American Education Week spotlights the importance of a quality public education. At Sunflower we appreciate our parents’ support of the education system. We are also lucky to have a very caring staff who focuses on meeting the needs of each individual child.
We hope you choose to participate and celebrate the great education that USD 368 provides.
Sunflower Spelling Bee

Take a pledge with Patrick Mahomes to read daily. Get all the details here: 15 and the Mahomies Foundation
Lunch Notes
Please be mindful of the lunch procedures that are in place:
- If you are joining your child for lunch and bringing lunch, please remember that pop is not allowed in the lunch room. You may bring water, milk, juice boxes, or sports drinks. Better yet, have you tried the new lunches? Call in the morning to order and try a school lunch. You will not be disappointed.
- Students who bring a sack lunch to school need to bring a drink in their lunch or purchase a milk from the school. Students are not allowed to bring their classroom water bottles with them to the lunch room.
