Notes from Brock Elementary:

-Reminder about having your car tag for student pick up. If you do not have a tag, you will need to park and go into the office to pick up student with proper ID.

  • -We are asking that all visitors are out of the building by 7:50. We will make announcement at 7:45 to remind everyone of the time. We are asking parents not to walk their students past the double doors after the tardy bell. If you are staying to volunteer, we ask that you check in at the office. We are doing this to ensure teachers can start classes promptly and get the school day started.
  • -We are hoping to model respect during the pledges and moment of silence. We ask for your help in this matter. If you are a visitor in the building, when the pledges begin, please stop and join us. This will help to model respect for our country to our students.
  • -The school doors will open daily at 7:15.
  • -If you need to pick your child up early from school, please get them by 2:45. This will ensure you do not get stuck in the parking lot.
  • -If you need to buckle your child in the pick-up line, please pull into one of the designated parking spots so we can keep the line moving.
  • -Please DO NOT PASS in the drop off or pick up line. This is to ensure the safety of all of our children.
  • -Cell phones are prohibited in the pick up and drop off line!

  • Parents: If you pick your child up early from school and your child rides a Day Care bus, PLEASE make sure you call the day care to let them know that your child WON'T be riding their bus.

    Ranger Game/Weather Presentation Field Trip

3rd Grade will be attending the Texas Ranger Baseball Game and also the CBS Channel 11 Weather Presentation on May 9th!!! The Texas Rangers will take on the Detroit Tigers. We will be leaving the school at 8:30 am and will meet parents at the ball field or parents are able to follow the buses.

The note that is in the picture, was sent home on Tuesday with your child. PLEASE make sure that you send this note back with your payment for tickets. :) This note also serves as a permission form so even if your child has decided NOT TO ATTEND the game, we still need the note back saying they WILL NOT be attending the game.

Students may wear their best Texas Ranger gear that day! They won't need to wear their Purple Field Trip Shirts. :)

Looking forward to a GREAT TIME!!!!!!
