Unidad 2.2

Your student is currently working on Unidad 2.2. In this unit, students are learning to...

  • talk about schedules
  • ask and tell time
  • ask questions
  • say where they are going
  • and request food.

Grammar: We are learning the uses and conjugation of the verbs ir (to go) and estar (to be).

Final Exams

We have the finals coming up-- (Dec. 16th –Dec. 19th). The final consists of a 100 multiple choice test and two Performance Based Assessments (a written and an oral one). The PBA’s are scheduled for December 10th. Everyone should be studying! Please encourage them to visit the class site and review each unit with the interactive activities. They should all have a study guide given in class.

For all foreign language classes-

All phones or electronic devices must be turned off and put in bags at the front of the room. Possessing any electronic device during the final will constitute cheating and may result in a “0” grade.

Here is some important information for students missing a final exam:

Students are expected to be present and on time on all testing days. If a student must miss a final exam due to illness, the parent/guardian must call the Attendance Office on the day of the absence in order for the student to take his/her exam on the make-up days. If the Attendance Office is not alerted, the absence will be considered unexcused.

All other missed exams must receive prior approval by the student's grade-level administrator. To obtain approval the parent/guardian should email the administrator by Friday, December 12. Please include the date(s) to be missed, the subject name(s), and teacher name(s), and reason for the missed exam.

Make up exams will occur on:

  • Monday, January 5, 8:30 am until 3:00 pm
  • Tuesday, January 6, beginning at 3:40 pm
  • Wednesday, January 7, beginning 3:40 pm

Please feel free to contact me with any questions or concerns you might have as

your student practices the skills of reading, writing, listening, and speaking in Spanish.
