District Nursing Report!
Finally, Fall has arrived! As we watch the leaves change colors and prepare for colder weather, please remember to take a few minutes to look over a few health topics that need reviewing…...
First UP...Back to School? Back to Head Lice Season…...
The head louse is a tiny, wingless parasitic insect that lives among human hairs and feeds on tiny amounts of blood drawn from the scalp. Lice are a very common problem, especially for kids. They're contagious, annoying, and sometimes tough to get rid of.
Please…. contact the school nurse immediately if you are suspicious of possible infestation. We will inspect the student in your presence. Anonymity will be respected.
PLEASE VISIT THE WWRSD WEBSITE…….
BE AWARE OF CURRENT AND FORECAST, THERE IS NO BAD WEATHER….. JUST WRONG CLOTHING.
