Kindergarten Spanish ClassThe kindergarten students in Ms. Villarreal’s Kindergarten class are learning Spanish in math. They were able to identify the shapes and color of objects using Spanish words. The final activity was for them to count in Spanish how many flat surfaces each figure had. The students all did a fantastic job, they are speaking mathematically in Spanish and solving math problems. | 4th Grade Learning Project During their winter party our 4th graders made snowman bookmarks during their craft activity. The students turned this craft into a service learning project and students created a "craft kit" for kids who are in the hospital and not able to be at a school participating in such activities. Jon and Nick M and Presley K joined Ms. Martinez in delivering those kits to Banner Hospital-Diamond Children's Medical Center the Wednesday before Christmas.. The child life specialists greeted them and were delighted to receive the donations. All fourth graders participated in making the kits. | Invitation to join the CFSD community CV would like to extend a warm welcome to VV families to participate in this walk. They had a very solid turnout last year, which included students and families from most CFSD schools. |
