Good Bye Ms. Sarah

Many of you have probably heard about Ms. Sarah, from your children. Sarah was an ISB graduate 2 years ago, and at that time worked with me for her GCW. She was home for the summer and emailed me to ask whether she could come to start the year with us, as she is interested in pursuing Education at Carleton University in Minnesota. We loved having Sarah with us and the students felt very connected to her in such a short time. Thursday was Sarah's last day with us so we had a celebration with some fruit snacks, cards and song.

I hope your child has shared with you the thoughtful notes Ms. Sarah wrote for each and every student in our class. Very special.

International Peace Day

Dear Parents and Students,

In honor of the United Nations’ International Peace Day on September 21, ISB will host its first ever Pre-K-12 Peace Day Celebration in Rajendra Hall. Unfortunately, due to numbers, this is a student only event. Peace Day is a way to recognize the efforts of those who have worked to end conflict and promote peace; and to celebrate a commitment to peace within ourselves, our families, our school, our community, and our world.

Students should wear their white ISB shirts on this day, as white is the international color of peace.

Please look for other Peace Day events taking place on campus!
