Inspiration of the Week

Do all you can, with what you have, where you are.

Theodore Roosevelt

Positive Behavior and Support in Action!

I have seen some great examples of how you are teaching your students to be safe, respectful, and responsible. In a few weeks, members of social emotional learning team will go to PBIS training and they will lead us in deepening this work. In the photo, you can see how Ms. Salvatore's class generated examples of being safe, respectful and responsible and put them on stickies on their class poster.

Glitter and Razz- Go Girls

Allison and the Glitter and Razz program will be back at Glenview starting next Friday, 9/14. Let your girls (and boys) know.

SRI Testing

SRI Testing will begin in the next few weeks. The bad news is that our current computer has only 9 working computers. The good news is that Glenview will be piloting the SRI on ipads. I am working with the technology and data department to figure out next steps and will keep you posted.

DO NOW; Math Sample Unit 1

As Andy discussed at our Wednesday meeting, start using your sample unit now. In order for us to make an educated decision about being part of the pilot, we need to get our feet wet and dig in to the new units.

Mr. Witte is our new Math Lead teacher....kudo to Tom for stepping up to this new role.
