Hopefully you had a chance to visit Chick-fil-a on Monday for our Spirit Night! We want to continue to do these each year, so thank you for supporting our campus!
Our PTO Chocolate Fundraiser continues! We have just a couple more weeks to go! Please see Kim Griffis if you have any questions about this fundraiser!Next week, we have two days of Benchmark Testing. Tuesday, February 14 and Wednesday, February 15, will be benchmark testing days for 4th and 5th grade. Our campus will be a closed campus on those days--no observations or visitors on campus. Please make sure that your child gets a good night's sleep and eats a good breakfast in the morning, if he/she is taking one of these tests.
Valentine Parties are tomorrow, Friday, February 10. Please see your child's teacher if you have any questions. Parties will be in the afternoon, around 1:30.
Thanks for your continued partnership!

Attention Parents
February 14-15: Spring Benchmark testing
**Our campus will be a closed campus to all parents and visitors on benchmark testing days. There will be no observations on these days and parents cannot eat with their student on these days. Also please be aware that we cannot interrupt testing to bring students items, so glasses, snacks, water, and lunches MUST be sent with your student in the morning.
Parents can help their children be prepared to do their best by following these guidelines:
*make sure your student gets a good night’s rest before test day
*make sure your child eats a healthy breakfast
*make sure your child arrives to school on time (tardy students may not be allowed to test)
*do not pick up students before 1:30 pm (for doctor/dentist appointments)
*send a book for your child to read after he/she finishes testing
*send a bottle of water and a healthy, NON-MESSY snack each day of testing (lunch is later due to the test, so students will get hungry without a snack) Some good choices are peanut butter/cheese crackers, goldfish crackers, pretzels, nuts, granola bars or trail mix. Snacks that are juicy or leave a lot of residue on fingers such as oranges or Cheetos can not be allowed because the mess could cause a student’s test document to be invalidated.
Thank you for partnering with us to help ensure your student has a successful testing experience! These test results help your child’s teachers plan instruction that meets the needs of your child’s strengths and weaknesses!
From the Registrar:
Re-Enrollment is about half-way done and we have about 60% of our students already re-enrolled!!! February 17th is the last day you will be able to login to School Mint to complete the Re-Enrollment for the 2017-2018 school year. Please do not miss that deadline!!!!
Open Enrollment will be March 1st – March 31st. This is the time to submit an application for any siblings of current students. And, if you have family or friends that are looking for an organization to partner with them in their child's education, give them an annual magazine and tell them why you choose Life School!
From Our Specials Teachers:
