Board & Volunteers Needed!

MVLL needs a few more volunteers to fill Board and Committee Roles. MVLL is a volunteer organization and in order for that program to run effectively, it needs lots of assistance from parents and community members. There are all kinds of jobs that need to be done. We need everyone to help out in some, even modest, way.

  • League Information Coordinator: Manage the MVLL rosters and website
  • Uniform Coordinator: Manage the distribution of uniforms at the start of the season
  • Fundraising & Sponsorship: Coordinate with League to secure sponsors for the season
  • Safety Manager: Keep MVLL compliant with Little League safety regulations.

Positions begin in September to prepare for the Spring season. Click to complete form below to sign up now!

Commissioners Update

Minors: A great season by Manager Damon Popovich, his staff, and players! As the only MVLL participant, they represented us well in all of their games and won their final series against the McDowell Mountain Cubs. The kids made a lot of progress and many are ready to move up to the majors next year.

Majors: Managers Todd Goldman and Carlos Romero, along with their staffs, also represented MVLL well and won most of their games against other leagues. The players all improved greatly - such a difference from the first game to the last game. The two teams battled hard in the championship series, with Coach Romero's team winning two tightly-contested games (9-7 and 3-2). These players are ready to return next year or move up to the next level.

AA & AAA: We went into the 2021 AA and AAA season with great anticipation, having had to cancel the 2020 season. These divisions are developmental and our primary goals are to teach fundamentals while allowing the kids to learn about team work and sportsmanship. Mostly of course, we want the kids to enjoy themselves. We were amazed at how well all of the kids progressed on the fields. A special THANK YOU to our coaches and volunteers, without whom none of the success that we saw this season would have been possible. We look forward to see all of you back next season!

Glove Care

CLEAN AND CONDITION: After each use, wipe the dirt off with a soft cloth or brush and store the glove in a dry place at room temperature. Every so often use a damp cloth to apply a small amount of leather cleaner and wipe the entire glove with it. Remove the cleaner with another damp cloth and allow to air dry. Then rub in a small amount of leather conditioner. Again, store in a dry place at room temperature.
