Update on Return to In-Person Learning!
Now that March 29 has been announced as the official date when students wanting in-person instruction can return to our school, I plan to communicate with all of you on a weekly basis with the information you will need to understand what reopening will look like at Prisk. You can expect more detailed information from me starting the week of March 1st.
For now, if you haven’t already done so, I would encourage you to read the recently revised LBUSD School Opening and Safety Plan document available on our district website at https://www.lbschools.net/District/coronavirus.cfm. This document is continuously updated as new information becomes available.
I am so excited to see our students back on campus and look forward to the opportunity to interact with you in the coming days.

P.S. If you selected a program (in person or online), but wouldn't mind doing whatever is best for the class as a whole, please let us know. You can email me at bcohen@lbschools.net. This might help us balance classes so as many students as possible can keep their current teacher!

Marathon Mile Club Info
LOOKING FOR SOMETHING ACTIVE TO DO (Solo or With Family?)
Join Prisk's Marathon Mile Club!!! Everyone is welcome to participate by walking or running.... please spread the word! Marathon Mile accepts up to an hour of exercise a week; it doesn't have to be any set time so long as the total time doesn't exceed an hour. Small walks/runs are just as good as an hour straight! RUNNER UPDATE as of February 1st!
Hi everyone! We've now logged 1363.4 miles so that puts past Oklahoma City, OK, and more importantly, we're no longer running on I-40, and have now started to turn more northward on I-44. We'll be heading on this highway until we hit St. Louis, and it becomes I-70E.
We've added three new runners since the last update and we have our first two double marathon students, with several more really close behind. One of our parents is almost at 100 miles submitted as well! Whoa!
Keep sending in your miles, and spreading the word! Things are still looking good to make it all the way to Times Square!
