TECH TALK - Creating Infographics with Easel.ly

The use of infographics has exploded in the past few months. We see these visual images used for sharing all types of information and data. Infographics can also be a great option for students to create and share information, i.e. their findings from research, a report on a book, the biography of a historical figure, etc.

One free tool that will help students create infographics is Easel.ly. There is no sign-in required. Teachers can either plan to have students create in one sitting OR they can use the "groups" feature to create users under their email. This is a nice option that allows students to save and work on their designs later. The site also has a ton of free templates that students can edit to assist them in creating their infographics.
