Fresh air and free play time are essential breaks for successful learning. Students will have normal outdoor recesses to a windchill of -22 degrees Celsius. With windchill factors of -23 to -27 degrees Celsius, students will have outdoor recess, and the duration outdoor will be reduced. When windchill factors are -28 degrees Celsius or lower, students will remain indoors. Thank you for your assistance in ensuring your child is dressed appropriately for outdoor play, this includes play time before school begins. Want to learn?
Want to learn French? ÉPK parents have been asking for a course to help them learn French.....Great news! Canadian Parents for French (CPF) will be offering an 8-week Beginning French course for Parents at ÉPK beginning January 19. The course material is based on the French Immersion curriculum taught to Alberta students in grades 1-3. Stay tuned for details on how to register! The instructors will be our very own Mme Gravelle and M. Morin, the Assistant Principal at École OLPH.
Interactive Bible study and discussion at ÉPK
Have you ever had a desire to know your faith better or to have a greater appreciation and love for Scripture? Do you like getting tough questions answered and interacting with other parents? Do you enjoy food and friendship?
Please plan to join the free ÉPK bible study which will run on Wednesday mornings from 9:00 am to 11:00 am starting January 18th, 2017. We will begin each session with refreshments and then watch an engaging video on a particular book of the bible and then have time to discuss what we have experienced. To register, or get further information, please email Billy Spindler: bspindle@shaw.ca or call or text to 780-990-7981. Space is limited so please respond by December 31, 2016.
