Kinder AIM
Know & Go
Full Circle Day
Today was our last day of kinder AIM for the year and it was full of symbolism. It was also my last day with my 6th grade students who I have taught for 7 years (they were my first kinder group). I wanted to remind them how little they were when they first came to Norton. I brought both groups together to work on a large mosaic art piece that will hang outside my room next year. My 6th graders were so gentle and kind and kinda shocked by how little your children are. It was very cool to introduce the two groups and point out that when my current 6th graders graduate high school and do the Norton graduation parade before heading off to college, your children will be 6th graders... they all just kind of took that in for a moment. Next year AIM will be two hours long per week and our focus will be on ancient China!
