Thanksgiving Fun!
Another fun memory created by our third grade team and Mrs. Jaeger was "Balloons Over Bridge Valley". Students learned about the Thanksgiving Day Parade, then created their own "floats" to parade around the school.
Boomerang Youth Recognition Award
The Boomerang Youth Recognition Award is a monthly reward that recognizes and honors the value of youth and the contributions they make in our community. The program is based on Forty Developmental Assets, which are positive experiences, opportunities, and personal qualities that children from many cultural backgrounds need to be responsible, successful, and caring. Each month, community members, school staff, and students cast ballots for the student they believe best represents an Asset chosen by CB CARES. A Bridge Valley winner is chosen and recognized on our Friday announcements. Each school in the Central Bucks School District sends their student nomination to a committee of community members, and ultimately an elementary, middle, and high school student will become the Boomerang Youth Recognition Recipient.
The asset being recognized for December is #30 Responsibility: A young person that accepts and takes personal responsibility.
If you’d like to nominate a student, please complete the https://cb-cares.org/wp-content/uploads/2019/05/Boomerang-nomination-form-1.pdf and email it to kmelberg@cbsd.org by December 17, 2021.

Attendance
If your child is tardy, being picked up early, or absent for any reason, please enter this in Parent Portal.
Click here for PDF directions for how to input the absence, tardy, or early dismissal.
Click here for video directions for how to input the absence, tardy or early dismissal.
Requests made using the parent portal will also serve as the excuse for the absence. Parents will not be required to submit an excuse either electronic or written.
Parents and guardians can also still call the school to report an absence, but emails will no longer be accepted.
In addition, when a student is absent from school, but the school did not receive communication from the parent or guardian, the following communication will be sent:
- A text message will be sent midmorning notifying the parent or guardian of the absence
- An email will also be sent at the end of the school day reminding the parent or guardian that the student was marked absent.
Thank you for your attention to this.
