Woodbury Junior-Senior High School - Weekly Newsletter
Friday, October 16, 2020
Message from the Principal:
As October marches on, we become more excited about our planned return to some in-person learning in our hybrid format on Nov 9 (with orientation days Nov 2nd & 4th). I will be mailing a detailed letter to you with all of the safety procedures and protocols next week; so, please look out for that.
Parents of Juniors and Seniors are invited to a parent night this coming Tuesday, October 20. Beginning at 6 pm and from the comfort of your own home, you can log in to hear information about the college selection process, financial aid/FAFSA, NCAA eligibility, scholarships, the Common App, and Naviance. Led by our counseling department, this is a great time to get all of your college questions answered directly. Please pass this information along to other parents of upper classmen so they may attend as well. We hope to see everyone there!
In partnership,
Dr. Vivadelli

Virtual College Fair
Attention: 10th - 12th Grade Students and Parents
Please take a moment to explore this opportunity for a virtual college fair hosted by the Career Council Inc. Each student MUST register for this event. These events are offered free to your school.
The designated date and time for Woodbury students to attend will be on Monday, November 16th from 3:00-7:00pm.
I hope that in the near future we will again bring in-person college fairs to you, but for now the virtual fair will assist your students in their college search. A flyer announcing the date and times of the fairs is attached. A form with a registration link to register for each fair is also attached.
PLEASE NOTE--though once opened, the links indicate specific counties of New Jersey, please disregard, as EACH FAIR IS OPEN TO EVERYONE! Please register for the fair(s) which are most convenient for you. Many but not all of the same colleges will be at each event, so we encourage you to look at each fair.
If you have any questions, please contact your counselor.
