September/October 2019 Newsletter
Dear Families:
The fall season has certainly arrived with shorter daylight hours, colorful leaves, and cooler temperatures.
On a daily basis, we are reminded of the many opportunities available to help students achieve academically and socially. Students are encouraged to get involved with many extra curricular activities. It is always important for students to balance their academic studies with opportunities to collaborate, decompress, and develop meaningful relationships.
As always, if you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to contact us. By forming a cohesive partnership, our students will be best prepared to reap the rewards of a well-rounded education.
Please access our website, as well as my Twitter account at Principal Galati, for most current and relevant school related updates, events, and highlights of our students’ success.
We look forward to seeing you at upcoming theatrical performances, concerts, and sports events. Have an enjoyable fall season.
William R. Galati,
Principal

Chinese Students Artwork Selected for Exhibition at China Institute
Last Spring, our AP Chinese students visited the China Institute in Manhattan and participated in a traditional Chinese calligraphy workshop. The artwork of class of 2019 alumni, Chestine Tomas and Brandon Weiss, were selected to be showcased this fall (September 12, 2019 — January 4, 2020) at the gallery of the China Institute in an exhibit titled, Blossoming Seeds of Vision VII.
