How to do them: If there are two reactants one on each side of the plus sign then they need to combine later in the reactions. Those reactants, A and B, then combine to form a new single product. A + B= AB
Example: H2 + 2Cl(g)-----> 2HCl (g)
Single Replacement Reaction
single replacement is: a type of chemical reaction where an element reacts with a compound and takes the place of another element in that compound. A + BC ------> B + AC
Basically, a takes B's spot and they switch.
Example: Cu + AgNO3 ----> Ag + Cu (NO3) 2
