EastView GSIA Meeting for New Members (Information and Planning) 9/28 at 5:30 pm in Cafe

Your GSIA board welcomes new members to an informational meeting on September 28th at 5:30 PM-6 PM in the school cafeteria. This will give you another chance to meet your board as well as learn of upcoming events and volunteer opportunities.

It is not too late to JOIN. Everyone is welcome to attend.



Hi EastView families!! It's WalkaThon week!!! Please RETURN the pledge envelope to school by September 22nd. Practice your laps this week!!!! Friday we show off those great sneaker skills and have some fun!! Review your student's time to walk. One parent/guardian per student. We are SO excited to see you and make some great school memories!!

Envelopes will then RETURN home with the student to collect the pledges!! Money MUST be to school by Oct 5th. EastView GSIA will announce the winners Oct. 7th. Gift cards from Five Below will be awarded for most laps/most money in each grade.

Remember ALL monies collected STAY at EastView!! Get ready to lace up!!

Wildcat Walk Schedule for Friday, September 23, 2022

K @ 11:00-11:30

5th @ 11:30–12:00

3rd @ 12:00–12:30

4th @ 12:30-1:00

1st @ 1:00-1:30

2nd @ 1:30-2:00

STUDENTS may bring ONE guest to be their walking partner.

1) Park at Rec

2) Bring Driver's License and Sign in as you enter FRONT

3) Walk with your AMAZING Kid for 30 min

4) Hug and Say Good-bye so the next group can start walking

5) Give your walker money to donate for our wonderful school

PE Interim Teacher, Mrs. Kelyn Norton

Coach Burr will be taking a maternity leave in a few weeks. Mrs. Kelyn Norton will be covering for Coach Burr for the remainder of the year. Mrs. Norton has a wealth of knowledge and experience. She taught in the Greene County School for 24 years ( PE, Language Arts, Social Studies and Science) and also taught in Greeneville City Schools at Hal Henard for 7 years. She has served as an athletic director, coach, and as a Tusculum and Milligan as an adjunct professor. After retirement, Mrs. Norton continued to substitute and serve as a RTI instructor at Chuckey Elementary School. We are very excited to have Coach Norton join our EastView staff.
