Hi GIS Community,

First and foremost, thank you for working with us last week with our flurry of bus challenges. It's always our priority to get your kiddos home safe, and last week was full of unknowns. I fully recognize that, and I'm hoping this week will improve!

We're heading into our first full week of December, followed by a busy and wonderful weekend! The craft fair was a success. It was a windy and drizzly day, but that didn't stop people from filling the halls and supporting local crafters. A HUGE shout-out to the PTA for their hard work putting this event together. Next weekend, people who purchase poinsettias will come to school on Saturday for pick-up between 10-12.

This week, the Scholastic Book Fair is at GIS! Ms. Drasler, our librarian, will have the book fair open several times this week, including after school on Monday. Hi GIS!

We have over 18 students signed up to participate in the ski and ride program and a ton of family support on and off the mountain. I'm feeling full of gratitude! I will send out a consent form from Smuggs this week, be on the lookout!
