A Principal's Perspective
Fall is finally in the air! Cool, crisp air, pumpkins, candy corn, pumpkin spice all are great indicators that fall is here! I hope that you take time to enjoy the season with your family. I appreciate your hard work and efforts in starting off a successful school year. It doesn't just happen! Thank you for two productive staff development days this week. Conferencing with parents, facilitating student led conference and planning for instruction set us up to finish out the first semester focused on our students and their continued progress. I hope that you find time to rest and enjoy the fall weekend!

Funny from a 4th Grade Student: At car duty, I asked a 4th grade student about his day. He said he had a good day and then asked me, "How was your day?" I said, "It was great! I got to talk with teachers all day (SIT, C^2)!" He replied with a quizzical look on his face, "And that went well?" Love That! Made me laugh!
Bees at GP: Kindergarteners discovered the hobby of bee keeping today. Casey's mom and dad presented to the students today. They even brought biscuits and honey butter for tasting! Yum!
