SHOUT OUTS from the ENERGY BUS STOP (link below)
- Each week, I pull over the bus...put it into PARK...and read the messages that are written on the Energy Bus Stop form! You don't have to fill out all the responses, just pick an choose! However, please take some time to recognize and LOVE on all the passengers at SVE!
- Annie Nierman did a great job organizing the author's visit. It was a fantastic and motivating experience for my students, and there was direct connection to our work with a Genius Hour project. Also, she covered my class, so I could attend a meeting.
- Ashlee Baker's students are writing an opinion piece about their favorite Kansas City destination. Her kids are EXCITED about their topics and very engaged, because they had choice in their learning!
- Jodi Mahurin does an amazing job articulating to our staff how we can support students through crisis situations by, being Trauma-Sensitive. We are fortunate to have Jodi on staff to help so many students!
