MSEA Final Paychecks
All MSEA members will receive their final paycheck(s) of the year on June 15th. Those that have elected for 20 paychecks will receive 1 direct deposit. Those that have elected for 24 paychecks will receive 5 separate direct deposits. Please note there are no premiums deducted in June for voluntary benefits. If you are unsure how many paychecks you have elected to receive, you can contact the Human Resources or Payroll Departments. The 1st paycheck for the next school year will be August 31st
2022-2023 CEA Work Calendars
CEA work calendars for the 2022-2023 School Year are included here and are published on the Knowledge Base under Human Resources/Payroll.
- The calendars are specific to your position and will show your start and end dates, non work days, vacation days, and holidays.
- Payroll Calendars will be published on the Knowledge Base over the summer.
- If you work for Nutrition Services, please check with your supervisor for start and end dates that may differ from the published calendar.
- Employees can contact the Human Resources Department if you have any questions.
Classified Leave Balances
CEA employees must use any leave over 480 hours by June 30th each year. Per the Negotiated Agreement, accrued leave in excess of 480 hours will automatically be donated to the Sick Leave Bank if you are a member of the bank. In the future, if you do not wish to donate your excess leave to the Sick Leave Bank, you must opt out of participating in the bank by October 15th.

Resigning at the end of the school year?
Employees who know they will not be returning to a permanent position with MSBSD next school year are asked to complete a Separation Notification in Team Dynamix, if they have not already done so. The Separation Notification can be filled out by supervisors, on behalf of the employee, when it isn't clear if HR has already been notified. This allows Human Resources to process your separation in a timely manner and ensures employees receive their final pay accordingly. To submit a Separation Notification please go to the Service Request page from the Employee Quicklinks and click ‘Services.’ In the Service Catalog go to: Business Service -> Separation Notification -> and fill in the fields. If there is a resignation letter or other written notification, it can be attached to the service ticket. Thank you for your service and we wish you the best of luck in your future endeavors.

Employees have the option of meeting with representatives from American Fidelity for more information, or to enroll in the options listed below. Upcoming Open Enrollment
Open Enrollment for both Premera and PEHT will begin later in May and run through the beginning of June. Additional information, including links to required forms, will be sent via emails, keep an eye out in the coming weeks. Forms will also be available on Team Dynamix. The open enrollment process allows individuals who are interested in making a health plan election change to do so. For those who will not be electing a change in coverage no action is necessary.
