Reasons #1 Texas fought in the Civil War

Texas fought in the Civil War because they wanted both bond (slave) and free to get along and not argue.

Reason #2

They also joined because of secession. Most Texans didn't want secession. They all seemed to want to be united. Abraham Lincoln did not want any state to leave the Union

Reason #3

The third reason was because of the states rights and they wanted to be able to see who would have the right to leave the union, but Texas didn't want the union to split up.

Reason #4

The 4th reason that Texans fought in the Civil War was because of slavery. There where people who were against slavery and who where for slavery.

Texas fought in the Civil War for many reasons.
