Third Annual Vision Fun Run..this weekend!
Hi! My name is Ella Osborne and I am 9-years-old and in fourth grade. What makes me unique is that I was born with a cataract and amblyopia. When I was just 3 months old I started wearing a patch on my eye and when I was 2, I started wearing glasses. My parents were able to provide the care I needed, but many kids don’t have that same privilege. So I came up with a way to help them! My goal for the Vision Fun Run is to raise money and awareness for kids that need glasses and hearing aids, while encouraging families to be more physically active and involved in our community. In the past two years, we’ve raised over $8000, which is nearly 300 pairs of glass for kids that can’t afford them. Help me give the gift of sight and have fun doing it!
