Mountain's Virtual Gratitude Jar
Many of you have shared your thanks with those who have helped you, but I wanted to create an official way to express gratitude to the entire staff at Mountain Avenue.
Please take a few minutes, click on the link below, and share who has helped you and how. I will make sure they receive your message.

City of Glendale Student Library Cards
The district has been working with the City of Glendale to streamline library registration process to make it even easier for you! They have created a virtual Google Form, and only need the form completed IF you want to opt out on receiving a library card for your child. If you want a card - You can disregard this survey. Your child(ren) will automatically receive a library card!
The library card is such a gift to our students in GUSD. It offers a wide range of services and features that our students will be able to access all at absolutely no charge! The library card will provide each student the following services:
• Borrow up to 100 library items at any of the Glendale or Pasadena Public Library locations
• Borrow FREE e-books and audio books
• Have access to FREE newspapers and magazine articles online
• Learn and practice up to 52 foreign languages for FREE
• Use computers and Wi-Fi for FREE at any Glendale Library
• Free tutoring in English and Spanish
The student library card is unique in that there are no fees for lost items. This card also will grant access to special reading challenges and online programming geared towards students. Having the cards batched together as a school or class set will allow us to easily communicate with students and we’d be able to work directly with faculty to curate and share booklists, specialized programming, project assistance, and outreach that is specific to the class’ needs.
While the cards do have many similarities to the general library card, the specialized items and communication we wish to offer through our children’s librarians is invaluable.
IF YOU DO NOT WANT TO RECEIVE A LIBRARY CARD, PLEASE CLICK ON THE LINK BELOW:
Last day to opt out is February 12, 2021
