April/May issue of SpineOut
The YA emagazine, SpineOut, has interesting articles, news and reviews for students (and teachers!). It contains a wide variety of content submitted by students from schools across Australia. If you have a student who has written a great piece of work or has an interesting project to share, then you might like to encourage your student to have their work published. See Nancy S. if you would like further details. Also, encourage your students to enter the competitions too (good chances of winning a prize or two, I hear). A Year 7 student entered a competition last term and won a book prize. Access the emagazine here.
New Journals
Alana has put together a Google Slide presentation to share information about the latest journals available in the library for staff and students. The document includes an image of the front cover and the table of contents page for each journal so that you can easily browse to find articles of interest. (Recommended to view this on your iPad so that you can zoom into the Contents pages of interest). Access the Google Slide presentation here.
