Snow Day
Well, only technically. Not in the spirit of what we all WANT in a snow day.
But anytime the snow falls like this, it reminds me of MY time in college in Virginia, where classes were cancelled at the drop of a flake. It ruled.
My favorite part of snow days in college has to be that without exception there would be some sort of mass gathering in our common quad. Would we snowball fight? Play football? Just be merry? It depended on the snow fall and the time of night, but there was always a chance to hang out in the powder.
Hold on to these moments!

Next Steps AmeriCorps Mentoring Program
The Next Steps AmeriCorps Mentoring Program pairs upperclassmen to mentor first-year students within their same major and/or school. While academic in focus, mentors also provide support to their mentees regarding financial literacy, social life/student groups on campus, career planning, stress-management, and more! Mentors and mentees meet every week for a minimum of an hour at public on-campus locations. Upon completion of the program, mentees are then invited to participate as mentors themselves during a 300hr AmeriCorps service term. It is free for first-year students to participate in! Interested first-year students can apply here!
