Over the next few weeks, students will be working to answer the question: What does it mean to be healthy?
Throughout this unit, students will show their learning by:
designing and creating a health museum that explains important health information
communicating information about personal health habits and safety rules
setting personal health goals
We know a strong partnership with you will make a great difference in your child’s education. You can support your child’s learning by talking with your child about this unit and encouraging her/him to ask questions and think hard.
We are looking forward to our second graders embarking on their journey of learning!
Sincerely,
2nd Grade Teachers
