Transportation Updates for 2022-2023

Transportation will no longer be accepting requests for bus passes.

We are so excited to be starting our second year of preschool here at Shannon Park! The preschoolers and their families are also excited and a little nervous about starting at a “big” school. This year, the preschool start and end times will be the same as Shannon Park so they will be joining you in the car and bus lines. One difference for preschoolers is they must go from a caregiver’s care directly into our care and from our care directly to a caregiver’s care. This means children will need a teacher to come directly to the car in the morning and a teacher will bring children directly to a car at the end of the day. Families with preschoolers will have bright orange signs in their car windows. We will do our best to move as quickly as possible, and we thank you in advance for your patience. The community of Shannon Park has been so welcoming to the Preschool program!

Volunteering at Shannon Park

Shannon Park is an amazing school because of the volunteer participation that happens throughout the school year. There are so many different opportunities for you or a special grandparent to share your gifts and talents to benefit students and staff. The following link is a list of opportunities for the upcoming school year: Site Council Volunteer

Online Directory Available to SP Families

Each year, the SP Site Council provides families the opportunity to sign up and be a part of the online directory. This directory allows families to connect with other SP families in a secure manner.

Please remember to report all absences and changes of schedules by calling 651-423-7670 during school hours or by submitting a form here.

New Daycare Forms Needed Each Year

New Daycare Forms MUST be completed each year! Parents of students who will be attending a daycare facility, or who will be transported to or from an address other than the student’s home address during the 2022-2023 school year, are reminded that new daycare forms must be completed on an annual basis. The YMCA SAC is considered a daycare, so if your child will be attending SAC you must fill out a daycare form. These forms may be obtained by:
  • Picking them up at the Shannon Park office
  • Visiting the transportation page on the district website

Please have these forms completed and turned in to the Shannon Park office.
