Jane Addams December News

December is a Month of Kindness and Giving at Jane Addams!

Jane Addams will begin collecting canned food items in each classroom for various food pantries. We are looking forward to some friendly competition between classes. If you would like you may begin sending in items December 5th until December 19th.

We will have our Jane Addams "All School Spelling Bee" on December 16th at 9:00 am. While some classes will be attending in person, others will be streaming in "LIVE" to attend the event.

Please do not forget the last day of school prior to Winter Break is December 21st. The Jane Addams school office is closed when the District is closed. Students return to school on January 9, 2023.

Dual Language News

We are excited to announce the upcoming Dual Language Curriculum Night!

Parents and students are invited to learn about specific methods used in Dual Language classrooms to build both Spanish and English Language Development. Teachers will model different lessons for families to experience! We are developing high levels of language proficiency and literacy in Spanish and English, and we want to empower our families to support this at home!

When: Tuesday, December 6, 2022, 6:30 p.m.
Where: Winston Campus
Elementary, 900 E. Palatine Road, Palatine
