February 1st-28th: National African American History Month
The 2022 Theme for National African American History Month is Black Health and Wellness.
The theme for 2022 focuses on the importance of Black Health and Wellness. This theme acknowledges the legacy of not only Black scholars and medical practitioners in Western medicine, but also other ways of knowing throughout the African Diaspora. MHSHS Parking Information/Certificate of Enrollment for Drivers License or Learners Permit
Parking cost for the 2021-2022 school year is $40. Payments should be made through
www.mypaymentsplus.com . The parking form, proof of payment and the required documentation (found on MHSHS website) to the MHSHS Attendance Office. A LEGIBLE COPY OF YOUR CURRENT PROOF OF INSURANCE & DRIVER’S LICENSE MUST ACCOMPANY THE COMPLETED APPLICATION.
To request a certificate of enrollment for your students Driver's License & Learners Permit, please log-in to www.mypaymentsplus.com to request the document and pay the $5.00 fee. Once the document and fee have been paid and requested, then the school will prepare the document for your student.

Senior and Junior Dues
Class of 2022 Senior Dues are $200 and can be paid through www.scholasticimages.com. Senior dues include Cap & Gown, the Official MHSHS Stole, Class of 2022 Tassel, Diploma, Diploma Cover, Senior t-shirt, Senior week activities, Senior Breakfast, Official 2022 Yearbook, and selected senior events. Dues must be in by October 1st. If dues are paid after October 1st the price will increase to $250.
Class of 2023 Junior Dues are $100 and can be paid through My Payments Plus. Junior dues include prom, class t-shirt, spirit week, and selected class events. Dues must be in by October 1st. If dues are paid after October 1st the price will increase to $150.

Gwinnett Online Campus registration will be held February 1-28, 2022, for students who wish to learn digitally in the 2022-23 school year. Visit the school’s website (https://www.gcpsk12.org/domain/7748) for more on the GOC registration process. Registration during this timeframe will allow the school to staff appropriately to serve students next school year.
Families can learn more about Gwinnett Online Campus and digital learning next school year through GOC information sessions.
- Virtual information sessions are scheduled for Monday, February 7, at noon, and Monday, February 14, at 4 p.m. These sessions will be recorded and will be available on the school’s website for viewing later.
- In-person information sessions are scheduled for the following dates/times:
- Thursday, February 3 at 10 a.m.
- Wednesday, February 9 at 10 a.m.
- Tuesday, February 15 at 10 a.m.
- Tuesday, February 22 at 6:30 p.m.
- Wednesday, February 23 at 10 a.m.
GOC offers a flexible learning environment, extensive support from teachers and counselors, individualized instruction, and a full range of courses. The school offers special education, ESOL, and gifted services. GOC students must meet all promotion and graduation requirements. Gwinnett Online Campus is the school district’s full-time, diploma-granting school for grades K-12. While GOC classes are digital, students are required to participate in some face-to-face meetings to take part in hands-on labs, interactive learning labs, and testing. Transportation is not provided for in-person sessions. Gwinnett Online Campus accepts students in grades K-12 who reside within the Gwinnett County Public Schools attendance zone. The student’s custodial parent(s) or guardian(s) also must reside within the GCPS district.
GCPS COVID-19 Information and Guidelines
While teaching and learning is the core business of Gwinnett County Public Schools, the health and safety of our students and staff is our key focus, particularly during the ongoing pandemic. Combatting COVID-19 requires a community effort, and everyone in the GCPS community is expected to do their part as we work to keep schools open and students learning in person. Mobile Walk-In Vaccination Clinic in Gwinnett County Public Schools
GCPS encourages our community to learn more about COVID-19 vaccinations and take advantage of opportunities to get vaccinated. In an ongoing partnership with the Gwinnett Health Department and other health partners, GCPS continues to host vaccination clinics at high schools around the county during January and February. No appointment is necessary.
