Globalization

Ashley O'Donnell Period G

Globalization is a process enabling financial and investment markets to operate internationally, largely as a result of deregulation and improved communications.

Groups definitions of globalization

Economic- The increasing economic interdependence of national economics across the world through a rapid increase in cross-border movement of goods, service, technology, etc…

A problem economically would be people don't get paid enough for making the shoe. A solution to said problem would be raising the salary would the women and men.

Technological- Relates to science and industry.

A technological problem would be that some people don't have internet access to order the shoe. A solution for that problem would be go to the store.

Environmental- The aggregate or surrounding things, conditions, or influences.

Environmental problem would be that they don't properly ship to the owner. Solution would be to notify all the workers that package them.

Cultural- Cultivation.

Depending on how you make the shoe it could go against someones religion. Solution would be to just not where them.

Relationship I have with globalization.

Every morning i get up, get dressed, brush my hair, teeth, do my make-up, etc... all those products i use to get ready are made from different parts of the world. For example, my hair brush is from Japan, but my tooth brush is from China. A good impact globalization has on my life is that i can get things pretty easy. Bad impact would be that globalization ruins cultural. For example, say if they have a Taco Bell in India, they won't be eating much Indian food with a Taco Bell there! Without globalization the world wouldn't be quite the same.
