Summer Book Study: The Literacy Coach's Survival Guide
Calling all 6-12 Literacy Coaches! Join us this summer as we engage in an online book study starting June 15 - July 17 via Blackboard. This book study will guides new and experienced coaches through important topics, such as the following:
- Effecting change
- Working with teacher partners individually and in teams
- Communicating well in coaching conversations
- Dealing with difficult situations
- Coaching around special initiatives, such as the CCSS and RTI
The online chat and discussion board sessions will be co-facilitated by two of our experienced Literacy Instructional Coach Mentors, Mrs. Linda Williams and Mrs. Melanie Alexander.
